Join Us in Supporting Families with Adaptive Needs
Come one, come all! We are thrilled to be hosting the first annual "Paving the Trail for All" event-an all inclusive walk and celebration of all abilities on August 16, 2025 at Stebner Park in Hermantown!
About the Event...
At Lion’s Hope, we believe every child deserves the chance to explore and experience the great outdoors, no matter the obstacles they may face. That’s why we’re hosting this special fundraising event– to make a tangible difference in the lives of families raising children with physical impairments.

This year’s proceeds will go toward acquiring a Huckleberry Hiking Tandem Hiker, an incredible adaptive device that allows families with a physically impaired child to enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures together. But that’s just the beginning! Our event also aims to alleviate the financial burden many families face when acquiring essential medical equipment that insurance doesn’t cover.

Lion’s Hope was born from our own personal journey. In September 2022, our son Leo entered the world with Spina Bifida, a life-changing diagnosis that has reshaped our family’s path. Through adaptive equipment like standers and wheelchairs, Leo has been able to reach milestones we once only dreamed of for him. However, we’ve learned firsthand the immense financial challenges these necessities bring.
With your support, we can extend the gift of mobility, independence, and adventure to even more families. Whether you’re racing with us, cheering from the sidelines, or donating to the cause, know that you’re helping us turn hope into action. Together, let’s make a difference.
